100 year old, massive oak tree fell on my home yesterday and did extensive damage. Bryson pulled his team together in under and hour and had them at my house. 6 hours later, the second picture, tree off of the house, no longer raining in my living room. I cannot recommend him and the team at H&L strongly enough, just hard work for an honest price, exceeded my expectations by a MILE!!!

H&L did an outstanding job at our property. Our adjacent property needed some serious work done and Bryson and his crew went above and beyond! They removed debris, took down trees leaning towards the home, installed a water drainage system, graded, and hydroseeded so we can have some grass instead of 8 foot weeds. We had such a good experience we already are on the schedule to work with them again at our main property. Highly recommend H&L for quality and professional work!

H&L are outstanding! I had a big tree fall first thing in the morning while I was at work and it completely blocked me from my home and trapped my sister on the property. They came out same day and cleared the tree for us. Super professional and would recommend them!

This company came through for us in a big way. We had a company come out to put in a concrete pad for a metal building. They left us high and dry with a big mess. We had a great experience working with Bryson and H & L Landscaping and Grading company. Our driveway had a lot of deep ruts, holes, drainage issues and was overgrown with vegetation on both sides. H & L came in and completely transformed it—it looks smooth, solid, and professionally done. They also cleared out trees and brush on the property, and the difference is night and day. The team was punctual, hardworking, and clearly knew what they were doing. Everything was handled efficiently and with attention to detail. It’s not always easy to find a company that shows up, communicates well, and delivers quality work, but they did all three. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing grading, driveway repair, or land clearing.

I made the mistake of hiring a different Grading Contractor to do some work on my property. That contractor made some major mistakes that could have caused even bigger problems. I had to run him off, so I got Bryson with his guys to come repair the damage, then finish the original project. Those guys came in and got on it. They work fast, but carefully. They know how to do the job right. It's all tidied up now, just waiting for some rain to get the grass to grow in.

Bryson from H & L is akways professional and friendly. The team did a great job clearing parts of my acreage for a new singlewide space. They did clearing, grading and gravel. I plan on hiring them again for my next project and would warmly recommend tjem to friends and family

We used H&L for several issues in our backyard. May have been a small job for them but it was huge to us. They dug up and removed a fence, filled in and leveled our yard, knocked down and removed storm damaged trees and cleared a spot for a future shed. They topped it off with hydro seeding. I found them easy to work with and very knowledgeable. This type of work makes me nervous and I felt very comfortable with what they did and with their advice. I would use them again.

Bryson arrived today with his crew to clear ice off of our driveway, a short private road in Rutherfordton. The work that they did was excellent. Everyone was very polite, and his price was fair. This was the result of the recent ice storm, which it had caused branches to obstruct the road, and these were taken care of. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

Our property looks incredible after H and L graded our homesite and opened up our Mountain View. We have been impressed from the start with the communication to getting us the finished product. Brent, Chris, and Bryson have gone above and beyond for us. Looking forward to many more projects with this company.

H&L did several roads for my construction company, and cleared land and provided grading for us. Provided consultation for free, which helped us choose best sites on our 30 acres for homesites. Highly recommend. A++++

We had an iced over driveway after the last storm and could not get out of the property. Called H&L at 9:00 a.m. and they were out by 1:00 cleared the driveway and salted everything. Highly recommend.

After Hurricane Helene we called up H&L to come fix the roads in Canecreek mountain POA . We had a bunch of landslides that Bryson and his team came out and fixed back so where we could get in and out of the community. He even helped me with a few of the trees that was in a very Dangerous situation, that I was unable to get on my own. I gave him the Road contract and he done a great job with the maintenance work, and after the last two storms that we just had H&L came out and Graded the Road and sanded and salted and done a great job we will definitely have them back thanks buddy . I am not from this area and had to take a chance on a company. My knowledge in this field was very poor. I was frustrated with some of the process that was fault of my own ignorance. Moving earth takes time precision and the right pieces to be in place. This company has all that and more. You will get good quality work from good quality local people. Bryson and his team of Chris and Brett were awesome to work with and to be very knowledgeable when I ask questions. I would absolutely use these guys again and I am already planning to do so. Supporting local businesses is the right thing to do and this one won’t disappoint you. I appreciated H&L to help my fathers dream come to reality. If you’re coming to this company with a “I want it now kind of attitude” that is the wrong mindset to have. These guys do great quality work. That should be the only concern!

We bought in Rutherfordton in 2022 and hired H&L to cut down a few trees. We had other estimates, all higher than H&L…we went with them and they did an amazing job.. we have used them several times since then… extremly pleased with their services
